Kamaha'o comes to Sierra from Kaimuki High School where he only played baseball. He had a promising senior year till he fractured his ankle at the end of preseason during a scrimmage and was out till playoffs. Which is when he finally got to show everyone what could've been by shutting down Nanakuli with 10 K's allowing only 1 run in his 6 inning outing. Advancing to the semifinals, on the very same day they traveled to face off against the number one seed but came up short losing 3-2 thus ending the chances of a D2 Hawaii High School State Championship.
