In this Big 8 conference game Sierra scored the 1st goal and never gave up the lead though it was tied 4-4 at the end of the 1st.  The 2nd quarter proved to be very lively with 7 ejections and 3 yellow cards given in the first 6 minutes of the quarter and the Wolverines scoring 7 unanswered goals increasing their lead 4-11. 3rd quarter added another 5 goals to the lead.  When the 4th quarter rolled around, DVC was able to put 7 goals on the scoreboard, but Sierra added another 3 to their lead, ending the game 19 to 11 in favor of the Wolverines.

GOALS: Alvarez/Scholar had the top goals scored with 4 each. Nordell - 3, S Hastie/Harriman - 2, Kay/MacLeane/Sinni/J Hastie (formerly Samford) - 1.

ASSISTS: Goalie Watkins was busy tossing passes that lead to goals, recording 4 assists for this game.  Alvarez/Hoppe/Nordell - 2, Cannedy/Scholar/J Hastie/goalie Ganaway - 1.  Unassigned - 2.  In addition, two goals were due to quick thinking and positioning on rebounds in front of the cage in the 2nd qtr by Alvarez & Harriman, 1 goal was on a penalty shot by S Hastie
