A beautiful November afternoon in Rocklin was the perfect setting for 2021 Women's Soccer postseason action, as Sierra College (North #3) hosted Cabrillo (North #6) in round 2 of the CCCAA NorCal playoffs, knocking off the Seahawks 3-0 to advance to the NorCal finals. Cabrillo had just two losses coming into this match with a record of 10-2-6, while Sierra's record was 15-3-1.

Sierra scored early in the first half, with a Lillieann Vogt (asst. Emma Scott) goal at the 5 minute mark. Later in the first Charity Myers added to the Wolverine total with another goal, also assisted by Emma Scott.

In the second, Sierra padded their lead with a goal in the 75th minute from Grace Roberts (asst. Alexa Sanchez). This sealed the deal for the Wolverines who won 3-0 over the Cabrillo Sea Hawks and advance to play Hartnell on Saturday in the 2021 Women's Soccer NorCal finals.

"Our team continues to grow and adapt to game situations" said head coach Jason Gantt. "We are excited for our next challenge". That challenge will be a Hartnell squad (North #2) who has not lost a match since September 2, but after falling to the Panthers 2-0 earlier this season, Sierra is looking for their revenge, and a ticket to the 2021 CCCAA state tournament.
