Coach Stig Jantz joined the Wolverine program as the Leadership Coordinator in Spring 2020.
He is an experienced college academic advisor, success coach and career counselor with proven
skills working with college students, young professionals and elite athletes from diverse
academic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. He understands and has lived the key
elements of the student lifecycle – admission, skills assessment, enrollment, financing, academic
development, transferring, career search and graduation.
Before arriving at Sierra College, Jantz held numerous positions at universities and colleges
throughout the West, including his service as the athletic academic advisor and life skills coach
at Bakersfield College and the football character coach at NCAA Division II powerhouse
Colorado State University-Pueblo.
As an undergraduate and graduate student, Jantz studied History at California State University,
Northridge.
