Former Wolverine Tyson Ybarra returns to Sierra for his 2nd season guiding the safeties in 2024. Ybarra started for the Wolverines at safety in the 2019 and 2021 seasons, earning All-NorCal honors in 2021. In his career at Sierra, Ybarra accumulated 115 total tackles and 3 interceptions.
Coach Ybarra is a graduate of Rio Linda High School class of 2019, where he played quarterback and defensive back leading his team to a state championship his senior season.
