Stan Thomas enters his 6th year assisting with the Wolverine Offensive Line. He and coach Diaz work closely together to build the "hogs" into a unit that is a force to be reckoned with every year, leading the NorCal conference in rushing in 2022 and 2018.
Coach Thomas has helped mentor 7 All-Conference players at Sierra, including Adrian Lopez (Lincoln/Stockton), Jesse Espinoza (Del Campo HS), Nick Scalise (Oak Ridge HS, UTEP), Anthony Davalos (Williams HS), Chad Bagwell (Lincoln HS, Idaho), Ryan Tantum (Bear River HS, UNLV), and Cesar Moreno (Reed HS, Coastal Carolina), in addition to several other scholarship players.
He reunited with coach Diaz in 2018 after the two coached together at Woodland HS from 2006-2008, then later moved on to coach at Woodland Christian HS.
In addition to his coaching duties, Coach Thomas is an administrator at the Yocha Dehe Wintun Academy in Brooks, CA. He lives with his wife Christina and son Andrew.
