Sierra Men's Water polo hit the road Friday, heading to Merced College for Merced's North-South tournament. In game one, they faced Cerritos in a close battle that saw a fierce back and forth before Cerritos was able to secure the victory.
Sierra's Filip Crnogoroc struck first with an unassisted goal, but Cerritos answered back, and after the first led the Wolverines 4-2. Despite a valiant effort, the Wolverines weren't able to close that gap, with Cerritos winning the match 18-13.
