The Sierra College volleyball team dropped to third place in the Big 8 Conference with a 22-25, 13-25, 25-18, 25-10, 6-15 loss to Delta on Friday.

The Wolverines were led by Taylor Stolz with 17 kills in the match while Paige Skinner had 12. Buckingham Collegiate Charter Academy alumna Wyievee Binda had 11 kills and seven blocks while Sofia Guerrero also stepped up on the defensive end with 24 digs. Sierra is still 21-5 on the season and have been playing well as they beat Santa Rosa in five sets on Nov. 3. 

Sierra will close out the regular season at Modesto on Tuesday, a team they beat in three sets at home earlier this season. The Wolverines are currently fifth in the CCCWVCA rankings.
