Courtney joined the Sierra College athletic training staff in Fall 2017 as a temporary athletic trainer and then full time in 2022. She graduated from Fresno Pacific University with her Master of Arts in athletic training in 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Sacramento State in 2017, and her Associates of Arts in Behavioral Science and Natural Science from Sierra College. While obtaining her Master’s Courtney worked as an athletic trainer for Placer high school, Sacramento City College, Yuba College, US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Programs and various other soccer organizations in the area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and paddleboarding.
