Former Wolverine Drew Brandon Becomes Player of the Week
The 6-foot-4 senior point guard [Drew Brandon] from Corona, Calif., earned Big Sky Conference Player of the Week honors Tuesday, Nov. 25, after having a career game against the famed Hoosiers, who saw the nation's third-best non-conference home court winning streak end at 43 games. . . . Brandon's previous career high for points was 19 against Montana (2/8/14) and he also had five steals versus Pacific (11/10/13). One game earlier versus 22nd-ranked SMU, Brandon finished with six points, seven rebounds and five assists, giving him two-game averages of 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, while making 13-of-22 shots from the field (59 percent) and 7-of-8 free throws (88 percent).
