Bio
Former Wolverine star Running Back Ryan Graham returned to "The Blvd" in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience at the Division 1 level to the Running Back unit. Under his tutilage the Sierra RB group led all of Northern California in yards per carry at 5.3. Sophomore Jayr Ramirez (Williams HS, Eastern New Mexico) was awarded All-Conference honors, and freshman Josh Hamilton was named MVP of the Pepsi Sequoia Bowl. Hamilton also led the state in yards per carry that season (8.5), a number which eclipsed Coach Graham's own school record from his playing days.
In 2023, Coach Graham worked as a student assistant at Arkansas State University under Head Coach Butch Jones, assisting with the Running Backs. His work there was preceded by his playing career at ASU, where he started multiple games, most notably against the University of Georgia in 2019.
Coach Graham signed at ASU after a stellar sophomore campaign at Sierra College. During the 2018 season, he led the nation in All-Purpose yards with 2,059, a Sierra College record. For his efforts, he was named an All-American. He was also the MVP in the Wolverines victory over Sacramento City College in the NorCal Grizzly Bowl that season.
Coach Graham grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High School before playing at Sierra College. He set the record for most rushing TD's in a season his senior year in 2016, and earned honors as Pioneer Valley League MVP, All-Section, and All-State that year.
