Sierra Track's Annie Ware Captures First Place in 3000M

The Sierra College women's track & field team opened its inaugural season Friday at Sacramento City College. Wolverine Annie Ware captured the 3000M with a time of 11:26.22, finishing just ahead of teammate Lucie Chevreuil, who crossed the finish line at 11:31.34. Emily Negus (12:16.11) and Jasmine Napenas (12:21.91) finished 4th and 5th. Sierra's Marissa Peterson won the 4th heat of the 200M dash with a time of 29:40.
