Two 3-0 Sweeps Mark a Powerful Start to the Second Half of Big-8 Conference Play

The Wolverines opened the second half of Big 8 conference play with two 3-0 sweeps of Sac City and Diablo Valley. Sophomore right side, Alexis Boccia, had a career high night versus Sac City with 14 kills, hitting a .722 clip. Taylor Stolz anchored the Wolverine offense versus DVC knocking down 10 kills, hitting .500. Sierra faces Folsom Lake and American River this week to stay in the conference championship hunt.
