Sierra College Volleyball Dominates Conference Play with 2 Sweeps

Sierra College Volleyball kicked off their conference play with two sweep victories against Modesto and Santa Rosa. In the match against Modesto, the offense was led by Jordyn Deter's precise setting, allowing Ally Stumbo (8 kills), Taylor Stolz (11 kills), Paige Skinner (9 kills), and Lainey Black (7 kills) to shine. Defensive specialist Molly Fowler also contributed with 6 aces. In the Santa Rosa match, they were especially commanding, with set scores of 25-9 and 25-10. Taylor Stolz led the offense with 13 kills and a .435 attack percentage, while Paige Skinner matched her with 13 kills. Libero Sophia Guerrero anchored the defense with 13 digs and excellent passing. A strong start for the Wolverines! Next, the Wolverines face CRC on Wednesday and Delta College on Friday at home.
