Bio
Alanna Whitnack is entering her 5th year as head coach of the indoor squad at Sierra College and her 9th season as head coach of the beach program. Whitnack assisted former head coach Vera Nelson from 2014 to 2021 and became interim head coach during COVID-19 when Nelson transitioned to full-time teaching. This marks Coach Whitnack's 22nd year as a collegiate volleyball coach, including 12 years at the NCAA DI/DII levels after her career as a scholarship athlete at the University of Nevada, Reno.
