The Wolverines headed to Las Positas College as the first seed in the Northern California Regional Tournament, previously secured by the BIG 8 Conference Championship title win and an earlier win versus West Valley College at the beginning of the season. They would first face Fresno City College to play for a spot in the State Championship on the weekend of November 21st-23rd down at Long Beach City College and have a chance at the NorCal Regional Title for the second consecutive year.
In the game versus Fresno City College, the Wolverines posted an impressive score of 19-4. Ally Boudreaux and Heidi Green with two goals each, Hailey Hensley with four goals, Makenna Perez with five goals, and Bailey Hollick with six goals added to the Wolverines' total goal count. This impressive score was made possible by Hailey Hensely, Leila Eyer, Heidi Green, and Caitlin Morse who tallied three assists, and Bailey Hollick who tallied four assists. In the goal, Tui Arama held down the defense with six blocks to lock down the win for the Wolverines and send them to the Semi-Final.
In the Northern California Regional Semi-Final, the Wolverine would face Merced College and put on another impressive performance. With four goals from Hailey Hensley, three goals from Makenna Perez, and another six goal-game from Bailey Hollick, the Wolverines would outplay Merced College and win 17-6. Both Makenna Perez and Jane Lubiens would have three assists each, Heidi Green would have four assists, and Ally Boudreaux would lead the team in assists for the game with five of her own. Again, Tui Arama would shut down Merced's offense with 13 blocks to send the Wolverines to a rematch of the 2023 NorCal Championship Title Game versus West Valley College.
In a back-and-forth matchup between the Wolverines and the Vikings, the Wolverines fell short of the Northern California Regional Title, 8-10. However, the Wolverines were still able to post some impressive stats. Tui Arama tallied 10 blocks and an assist from the goal to help the Wolverines defensively. Hailey Hensley recorded four steals, Ally Boudreaux had three steals and an assist, Heidi Green scored two goals and an assist, and Makenna Perez recorded a goal and an assist. Perez also put up an impressive stat of four drawn exclusions to give the Wolverines opportunities in power play situations. Bailey Hollick posted five goals to add to her overall total of 128, beating the school record of goals scored in one season of 125 goals, previously set by her in last year's season.
Although the Wolverines were not able to secure the NorCal Title, Heidi Green and Tui Arama were awarded Second-Team All-Norcal and given the title of Junior College All-Americans with their outstanding performance during the tournament. Makenna Perez would be awarded First-Team All-NorCal and also be named to the Junior All-American list for her performance. Bailey Hollick would not only be named to the First-Team All-NorCal team and be given the Junior College All-American title but also be awarded the NorCal MVP for her impressive accumulation of 17 goals across tournament play. Leading the Wolverines throughout this season, Scott Decker was awarded NorCal Coach of the Year to go along with his title of BIG 8 Conference Coach of the Year to round out his final year as the Sierra College Women's Water Polo Head Coach.
The Wolverines will head down to Long Beach City College on November 21st to compete in the CCCAA State Championship with their first game against the Riverside City College Tigers.
