Sierra College Men's and Women's Basketball opened 2020 competition with a few tough games, but have both bounced back for victories in the past few matchups. Men's basketball took two wins in their last three games, while the women's team has racked up a 4 game win streak since the 11th, including a thrilling comeback against Folsom Lake on January 17, which saw the Wolverines trail the Falcons the entire second half only to tie it in the last seconds, force overtime and win with a 77-67 final.

Baseball kicked off 2020 play with a few scrimmages, and then hit the road for three games this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Despite a slow start, dropping games to Marin (3-2) and Laney (9-4), the Wolverines found their first win of the decade with a decisive 15-2 routing of Reedley, just ahead of their 2020 home opener against Lassen on Thursday, January 30 at 2:00pm.

Softball also scrimmaged last week, hosting the Warriors of William Jessup in a pre-season matchup. The Sierra squad will head to Merced for a doubleheader to kick off their season on Thursday, January 30 before hosting Fresno City on February 1 at 12:00pm and 2:00pm in their 2020 home opener.

Women's Tennis also scrimmaged William Jessup, and will get their 2020 season underway in February, with their first home match scheduled for February 28 against Shasta.
