Baseball, Softball and Women's Tennis near the end of non-conference play, Men's and Women's Basketball start wrapping up their regular season and Beach Volleyball, Track and Men's Golf gear up as seasons kick off.

Baseball is still going strong headed into their final week of non conference play after winning their 11th straight game in a 10-2 victory over Butte last Monday. Their weekend started off with a 12-2 victory over Laney last Thursday and an 18-1 victory over De Anza last Saturday. Baseball is home against Contra Costa (Thursday, February 19 at 2:00pm) and Yuba (Friday, February 21 at 1:00pm) this week before heading into Big 8 play next week against Santa Rosa.

Men's Basketball hosted Sacramento City, falling to the panthers 75-65, while both men's and women's basketball take on Folsom Lake this Tuesday, followed by their final regular season matchup against American River on Friday when the men take on the ARC Beavers at 5:30pm, followed by the women at 7:30pm.

Softball headed on a four game road trip last weekend, coming back with an unusual (for softball) 2-1-1 weekend record, and now sit at 7-3-1 overall. The tie was a 5-5 affair with Sequoias, when after tying the game in the 8th, the game was called due to darkness mid way through the 9th. Sierra also picked up two wins on the trip, a 12-6 outing against Gavilan and a 13-4 victory at Bakersfield before dropping a tough one to Monterey Peninsula 15-0 in five. Sierra will host Solano this Thursday, February 20 at 2:00pm, and Shasta and Ohlone this Saturday, February 22 at 10:00am (Shasta) and 2:00pm (Ohlone) before kicking off Big 8 play on Tuesday, February 25 when the Wolverines host Diablo Valley at 3:00pm in Rocklin.

Women's Tennis will open league play at Santa Rosa on Tuesday, February 18, while Men's Golf will be at home on Wednesday, February 19 at Whitney Oaks Golf Course in Rocklin with Beach Volleyball hitting the road Wednesday for two away matches against West Valley and Foothill.
