After serving the 2023 season on the offensive side of the ball, coach Bass moves over to the defensive side for 2024 assisting with the Linebackers. Coach Bass played running back at Lane College from 2006 -2010, where he earned the Academic-Student Award in the SIAC Conference. After graduating with a BA in Science, he enlisted into the Air Force.
From 2014 – 2019 Coach Bass coached at Yuba City high school at various levels and positions. As the running back coach at YC in 2019, he helped coach the team to breaking the school’s all-time rushing record for a season. Coach Bass was the Freshman Head coach and defensive coordinator for Wheatland Union High School the 2022 season; the defense held 7 of the 10 teams they played below their scoring average for the season and averaged over two takeaways per game.
Kevin Bass has earned a Master’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree Sports Administration.
Kevin and his wife Quatisha of twelve years have four children together: Qua’Shinea, Quamara, Qua’Niya, and Kevin III.
