Sierra College

Derek Harris joins the Sierra coaching staff for the 2019 season. He is no stranger to the game of softball.  He is the President of the Miken Elite travel ball organization and has spent many weekends on a softball field.

His daughter, Darian Harris, played all 4-years at Humboldt State University. And currently his daughter Mikaela is a member of the Humboldt State University softball team.

During Derek’s playing days he was awarded All-World honors. Derek will be working with the infielders and hitters and is a great addition to our staff.

He owns Harris Trucking and lives in Lincoln with his wife and when not on the softball field he loves spending time with his grandchild.
