Coach Martinez graduated from Cordova High School and C.S.U. Sacramento. This is Coach Martinez’s 18th season coaching at Sierra College. During his time at Sierra College they won the State Tournament in 2007 and won 3 State Dual Titles. He has 80 state placers, 59 All Americans, 30 State Finalist and 16 State Champions. He was an Assistant Coach at Cordova High for 6 years and was the Head Wrestling Coach at Natomas High School for 23 years. He is retired. He is married to Catalina and has 9 children and 12 grandchildren.
