Kapri Pelle Named CCCWVCA NorCal Player of the Week

Kapri Pelle was named the week 8 NorCal Player of the Week by the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (CCCWVCA). Pelle, a sophomore from Placer High School in Auburn, has recorded 135 kills (2.05 per set), an overall hitting percentage of .216, 140 digs and 32 service aces (best on the team). She is a big part of Sierra's current first-place tie for the Big 8 Conference lead, and has started in each of Sierra's 19 matches this year.

Pelle helped Sierra to a pair of Big 8 Conference sweeps over American River and Diablo Valley Colleges as she totaled 26 kills, 18 digs, 5 blocks and 3 aces. She pounded 17 kills against a high-ranked ARC team, hitting at a .424 clip.
