In 2018, Sierra College Women's Volleyball once again found themselves atop the Big 8 for the third straight year. Your Wolverines went 23-5 overall, 14-2 in the Big 8 to win their third straight conference crown and claim the fourth seed in the 2018 CCCAA Playoffs.

Sierra entered the postseason riding an impressive 11 match win streak, enough to garner the NorCal #4 seed, allowing Sierra to host both rounds of playoff games. Sierra first hosted Butte in round 1, winning that match 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-20). In the Butte match, Sierra recorded 34 kills, with Madison Meteer leading the pack with 9, and Alex Cook assisting 30 times, out of a total of 32 assists overall. Meghan Merlino led Sierra with 12 digs, followed closely by Alyssa Orteza with 10.

In round two, Sierra was faced with Big 8 runner-up American River College, who they had already played twice in the conference season. Sierra had won both conference matches (3-2 and 3-0), but it was American River who prevailed in the third match, taking the 3-2 victory and ending Sierra's season with a 23-5 mark.

Sierra jumped out to a solid 2 set lead (25-15 and 25-20), but ARC did not give up, and edged the Wolverines in sets 3, 4 and 5 (25-18, 25-21, 15-7). Sierra recorded 54 kills, Kapri Pelle leading the team with 13, followed by Meghan Merlino with 12 and Madison Meteer with 11. Alex Cook recorded all of Sierra's 49 assists, and Alyssa Orteza led the team in digs with 21 of Sierra's 72 overall.

2018 saw the Wolverines claim their third straight Big 8 title, along with an average of 11.96 kills per set, 14.49 digs per set and a team hitting percentage of .249.
