The 2019 Sierra College Women's Cross Country Team's second place team honors is the highest team finish by Sierra College at the Northern California Championships since 1981.
Sierra College women won the 1980 and 1981 small school division of the NorCal Cross Country Championships.In 1984, the Nor Cal Championships did away with the large and small school divisions to make one women's race.
The 2019 Team performance was runner up to powerhouse Hartnell College. Sierra's Alyse Sibley earned all Nor Cal Team honors by placing seventh overall. Team scores of the top seven teams that move on to the State Championships: Hartnell 29, Sierra 109, Clovis 118, Santa Rosa 136, Modesto 150, San Mateo 167, San Joaquin Delta 181.
